Isn't that way too flippy?
Well Staraptor reduces damage done from Machamp by 40, therefore you can take a little bit of time trying to flip heads.

Rampy never was and probably never will be a tier deck.
I tested it right around prerelease time of Pt.
It sets up fast, yes but it sucks as a late game attacker.
80 damage in turn 6 can't OHKO most things, and if you knock it out, you do 40 to your self.
40 on you leaves you with 90 HP, and most things hit for 90+.
and Yes it having a basic as a fossil does slow it down.
Fossils suck late game, you can't NM/TSD/Pokemon rescuce them, you can't call or search for them.
Rampy just wasn't what people thought it would be like.
it sounds to me like no one knew how to play rampardos.alls i here is how it sucks late game.
uhm sure its a fossil so its hard to recover so play conservativly and build the deck to get the donk cut cards that diminish speed here is my list its 23-7 it beats everything except legos and palkia gwich happen to be the bdif right now.it also loses if you get donked obviously

I really like that list, except for maybe a few of the trainers. Why do you have Poke Turn? :S It, uh, only works on SP Pokémon... if you wanna bring Rampardos back into your hand use SSU.
galefail: Poke turns are strictly for Crobat G. It's like pluspower when you need it.
I know. I still don't think 4 are really needed for the 2. You could try 3 Poketurn 1 SSU, 2 of each, etc. Because that way, because Rampardos are relatively fast to get going, you don't have to let one die. You can just scoop it up
Or you could run 4 SSU and no poke turn...
I would say take out 3 blower for 3 poketurn, just because it's less flippy and lets you get crobat G off the bench.
But that's just my opinon.
I still believe that Rampardos should just run Cresselia Lv.X. You just need to play Warp Point, and you can have a Cressy out early in the game. Not only does Cressy place more damage during the whole game, but it also heals your Rampardos, making it easier to recover from a Head Smash.
1-1 Cressy and 3 Warp Point > 2 Crobat and 4 Poketurn
It takes less space and your deck already uses 2 Warp Point.

ok.
strategy:get out rampardos as fast as possible at least 2. then start KOing every pokemon in 1 shot using your plus powers or crobat/poketurn use the last 2 or a recovered rampardos to 2HKO all pokemon using either attack but try to evade the backlash damage as much as possible

i got scammed out of my cressilia lv.x so i don't have it.
i just won my BR.
went up against rampachamp, blaziken, and usual machamp.
i won everything (using giratina +yanmega)
yeah im proud, i beat machamp witgh giratina (even when both unown G AND azelf where prized)
theres huge overflow of macheap in here, maybe teching a random mismagius or something in my decks.
