I experimented with gengar with tech in ampharos(2-1-1/1). The idea was to use gengar for either sniping or locking their trainers using memory berry to clog up their hand so that they can not efficiently use uxie or claydol. If I am using the tactic of blocking their trainers, I immediately follow it up with poltergeist. I do not always have to block their trainers because I will adjust my strategy to the deck I am playing against.
Locking trainers will tilt the matchup heavily toward your side against rampardos; partially annoys kingdra, machamp, and sp decks. It lacks consistency and therefore I am probably going to take out ampharos line. I found through playtesting that shaymin grass varients and obamasnow beats it most of the time unless I get lucky with fainting spell.
As for why I put in a tech pt ampharos, aim me.
I'll add in your AIM Screen-Name. Although I can't really AIM now, I have a PR to attend, I will AIM you eventually.
I don't think that Amphy PT works well in the deck. Uxie Drops and the fact that Gengar can't use fainting spell are both an issue.

I've been testing Kingdra though, and i like that the most.
What kind of Kingdra are you playing. Speedra is still viable in the format. I have tested Kingdra with the Vulpix start and I didn't really like it. Also if you are looking for a decent 1-0-1 Tech, may I suggest Amphy PT. You can use Kingdra's Snipe to help shut down your opponents PokePowers.

I see a problem here. What are you going to do about the poeple that don't have AIM?
^The people who don't have AIM have two options:
1) They can get AIM, it is a free download and it only takes a couple of minutes.
2) They can request that I PM them a copy of the last chatroom, so that they can read it if they want to.
Not having AIM isn't a big deal. We still have PMing which can work perfectly fine.

I managed to trade for a Gardevoir Lv.X as well, just keeping Plox as an option.
How did you guys do at platinum. I got forth. Pretty good for getting the worst cards in history. NO cards that were related, only 4 cards that went together. muk and grimer, shaymin and shaymin X, giritina and giritina X, and something else. 3 lv.x 3 reprints/shinies, and the dialga misprint. Pretty good!
I normally just try to get the cards that I need for deck ideas. Other than that I don't really care about what I get. Overall I now have the cards for:

I went to another prerelease today.
I saw and heard that 4-6 people got Dialga G lv X. I barely got anything out of booster draft except for giratina(draw 4) and slaking rh. The only lame thing was the friend I brought to prerelease got both shaymin lvx(from his 2 packs) from giving back the energy during prerelease. My friend also got another palkia g lvx. 3 level x cards..........
I got the following from 8(6+2) packs and 7(6+1) packs from booster draft:

I arrive late for prerelease so I took the first round loss. I still manage a 2-2 record.
I now have 2 delcattys, 1 ampharos pt, 1 manectric, 2 rampardos(need 2 more if i want to play rampardos), 1-1 Palkia G lv x, 2 toxicroak, and 2-2 Dialga G lvx line(Gengar,Kingdra,rogue fun Slaking,Dusknoir).
I now have enough or very close to enough stuff for(order are in deck preference):
1) Gengar; I need to trade for 1 Gengar sf to run 4 Gengars unless you guys think three Gengars is enough
2) Kingdra with 1-1 or 2-2 Dialga G lvx.
3) Rampardos; I still need 2 more Rampardos
4) sp deck; need 1-2 Toxicroak sp and maybe Weavile sp(1-4)
5) machamp; pretty iffy on this one because of Toxicroak sp
6) Slaking for league play and nice misdirection for my competition; ie: I will not mind seeing fighting decks
Rhyperior: just need 3 Rhyperiors
Shaymin varients: tough...Shaymin lv ground
Giratina: need the lvx and maybe 2-3 Absols
Rage: What do you want for the Blazekin?
I would play Kingdra if I were you. Kingdra has great speed, sniping abilities, and can take 2 licks from Rampardos. You can 2HKO pardos (w/PP) and when He KO's you, you have 40 damage on them. + You can snipe/Swarm faster than pardos. Go with Kingdra.
That is my opinion.
