Welcome to my “Avatars and Art” thread, one in which I display numerous avatars and various pieces of Pokémon art for public use. There are, however, a few simple and easy-to-follow rules and notes that are associated with the use of the avatars and art. It is strongly recommended that you become acquainted with the rules and notes before posting in this thread.

1.) In order to use an avatar from this thread, you simply need to make a post saying that you’re using an avatar, not make a post asking if you can use one. I realize it’s polite to ask if you can use an avatar, but it saves you time by just saying you’re using one, so you don’t have to wait for my response. If you find an avatar on my Photobucket account that isn't on the list of avatars below or on this list, then it is not to be used! The reason I don't post them here is because they're either for Staff or for special purposes.

Note #1: If you would wish to make any changes to an avatar before using it (this includes using an avatar(s) to make an animation) or wish to use the avatar for anything other than as an avatar, you must post asking permission to do so.

Note #2: You do not need to give me credit when using an unedited avatar. My watermark is located on each and every unedited avatar, so it is redundant and pointless to have “Credit to Xous for the avatar” when you’re using one of my avatars.

Note #3: When using an avatar, it is required that you copy and paste the corresponding URL (located beneath each and every avatar) into the “Avatar URL” space located on the Change Avatar page of your Profile. The avatars will not work unless uploaded this way.

Note #4: If there is a Pokémon you'd like as an avatar that I haven't made yet, the best you can do (since I'm not taking requests) is either wait until I get around to it (I try and make avatars of the most popular Pokémon first) or post mentioning the Pokémon you'd like done. I cannot guarantee, however, a time it will be done, so please have patience.

Note #5: To use an avatar for another forum / program, all one needs to do is simply say the avatar they're using, and then say which forum it's going to be used on.

Note #6: Do not use any of the avatars listed in the Usable Avatars List in an avatar rotator. Doing so can cause problems if a staff member chooses to use one of the avatars you have in the rotation.

2.) In order to use any full body Pokémon art from this thread, it is required that you ask permission in this thread. Be specific with the pieces you’d like to use – I’m not a mind reader, and do not accept questions like “Can I use some of your art for a banner?”. Make sure to list the art you’d like to use in your post.

3.) In compliance with Signature and Avatar Rules #1 which states that “no user may use the same current avatar as that of any staff member”, it is required that I mark off avatars that are currently in use by Staff Members as unusable by the public. When avatars are marked as being in use by Staff, no normal member is allowed to use the avatar until the marking is removed.

Note #7: It is recommended that if a Staff Member wishes to use an avatar that I have listed in this post, he/she should ask for his/her own version of the avatar, one that is visibly different than the original avatar, so that the other members will not have to remove their avatars just so that a staff member may use an avatar that has been in use for months or weeks. Remember, this is simply recommended and considered polite by me, but is in no way a rule restricting use of the avatars from a Staff Member.

Note #8: If a Staff Member is currently using an avatar from this first post and no longer wishes to use it, it is required that I am informed via PM (or post here, though PM is better) that you are no longer using the avatar, so I can unmark it.

I believe this is all for the rules and notes now. I will update them as I see fit.

I am very impressed. The Infernape is exceptional in my opinion. I always look forward to more work by you.
