I went to start Redshark just a few minutes ago and AVG interjected with a quarantine. The name of the virus it caught was "Trojan Horse Dropper.Agent.LTZ". I was wondering if this is a legitimate part of the Redshark program? Should I allow it? Or is it something bad that has latched on to my program?
I uninstalled/reinstalled Redshark to see if that would fix things but AVG interrupted the program from starting again.
I can assure there's no malware in any of the redshark files contained in the installer to the best of my knowledge. A couple other users had a similar situation before, but it was nothing legit.
I have the exact same problem and had to uninstall AVG Antivirus to play RedShark. Perhaps you could try to find the section of Redshark that causes this false alarm?
Hello, Just a while back i purchased a Dell inperion mini laptop. I downloaded Redshark and i installed it ect... and when i pressed it to get on it says it need a minimun screen hight of 768 and my current confliguration is only 600, So i went to my settings and changed it to 1026 by 600 pixles because 800 by 600 and 1026 and 600 pixles are my only ones i can get on my laptop and it says it is still 600. So is there anyway i can use redshark.
I've tried to save a deck but the program won't let me. help.
Someone may have already answered this question, but even so...

Nope. It's not normal at all. You should check the main site (http://www.pokebeach.com) and this Wednesday's has the link to the newest version.

Mac or PC? What error msg are you getting?
If you are on a Mac, you should see Posts #130 or #131 in this thread.
To be more specific about the error(random card appearing on the playmat from the deck but I can't move it without getting an error message as seen below: I sometime get when I am playing bebe's search or roseanne's research:
ERROR MESSAGE:
Can't use an undefined value as an ARRAY reference at redsharkx.pl line 12098, <DECK_FILE> line 12.
Can't use an undefined value as an ARRAY reference at redsharkx.pl line 12098, <DECK_FILE> line 12.
while executing
"::perl::CODE(0x5ecec84) 620 152"
(command bound to event)
---------------------------------------------------------------------
The same error occurs when I tried to use delcatty pt pokepower, which allows me to put back 2 water energy to top of the deck and then discard 3 cards and attach all water energies discarded this way. The error occurs when I show my opponent the 3 cards discarded by delcatty by placing it on the playmat. A random squirtle appears on the playmat after I place the 3 cards on the playmat.

Thanks, Rage780, for the details, I'm assuming you're using v3.02, this should help track down this bug.
Yes, I am using the newest version of redshark.
Most of the errors seems to come from playing bebe's search or roseanne's research.

Do you get the errors when you're playing in solitaire mode and network mode? That would be helpful to know.
most of the time I am playing solitaire because redshark tends to freeze up on my laptop evertime I tried to play network mode. Also once I get the first error, there is a good chance I get a similar error later in the game, creating multiple "images" that gives me an error message I everytime I click on them.
It says that if your IP address starts with a certain number, you are not routable for online redshark playing. I have that #. Is there any way I can still play online without Hamachi, but play people who do?

Mapleboy86,
If you don't have Hamachi, you won't be able to connect to another player using Hamachi; however, that doesn't mean you can't play a game over the internet.
But first, why can't you use Hamachi?
Second, the Redshark Help, although a bit out-dated, basically describes how to play an internet game without Hamachi. The most important items for this are 1) the Host must allow traffic on port 7070, which is usually done by configuring your router, and 2) the Host goes to
http://www.maywanip.com to determine his/her IP address as seen from the internet, and gives that IP address to the Guest to enter in the Redshark preferences.
I hope this helps.
Porygon-Z LV.X misses Mode Crash when it's in play. When you hoover on it with the mouse, the Power is listed but you can't click it. Only Decode is available.
