‘Celestial Storm’ Ultra PRO Portfolios!

As with every set, Celestial Storm will see the release of a 9-pocket and a 4-pocket Ultra PRO portfolio!

The 9-pocket features Blaziken and Rayquaza while the 4-pocket features Jirachi and Stakataka.

Each portfolio holds 10 pages. Sadly, both portfolios won’t be able to fit a complete set of Celestial Storm since the set will feature over 180 cards. The 9-pocket portfolio can only fit 180 cards if you double-load each page.

Both portfolios will hit store shelves on August 4th, the same day as Celestial Storm.

That Gx move. If you use all of those item cards on the next turn... you will be punished by Garbodor

80+30(choice band)+20 kukui=130 for NO energy! Alolan Raticate GX is gonna be nice to play with.

If it didnt have fighting weakness it might see play. 200 is much easier for buzzwole to hit than 210 with an empowered jet punch/sledgehammer.
    Maybe post rotation...

Alolan Raticate GX might be pretty good with cards that can be recovered from the discard pile like Mt. Coronet and slap a choice band on it, you could be doing 110 damage every turn which is not too bad.

Baby alolan raticate can already hit 100 with choice band + Kukui.

    (P. City pre rotation also bumps it to 110.)

If this turns people on to the energyless deck, that's good. But it is outclassed by its little sibling.

    Hard Pass.

I actually like A. Raticate-GX. It's not amazing or anything, but due to the GX attack it's not a bad utillity card. Being able to do 110 (CB) for 0 energy is also good I'd say. Second attack is obviously bad. Since fighting will be nerfed after rotation the weakness doesn't matter that much imo. It's still going to be a bad weakness though. But A. Raticate could be paired with the correct 1 energy attacker depending on whether Buzzwole remains the top 1 fighting deck or if it gets replaced by Zygarde.

I don't think there is any reason to play A. Raticate in Expanded.
