2018 Pokemon Championship Series Details Posted!

Pokemon.com has officially announced the start of the 2018 season! As such, they have updated all of their TCG pages with 2018’s information.

Next season’s Internationals are as follows:

  • Europe’s Internationals will take place in the United Kingdom from November 17th to 19th.
  • The Oceania International Championships will take place in Australia in February.
  • The Latin American Internationals in Brazil in April.
  • The North American International Championships has been included on the list, but does not have a location or date yet.

There are new Regionals this year in Connecticut, Vancouver, North Carolina, and Tennessee. Some Regionals have been removed, such as the ones in Philadelphia, Athens, Seattle, and Arizona:

To qualify for Worlds, Masters and Seniors players in the U.S. and Canada will need 400 Championship Points, which is 100 less points for Masters than 2017. Juniors players will need 350 points.

Europe, Latin America, and Oceania players will all need 250 points regardless of age division. South African Masters players will need 250 points, while Juniors and Seniors players will need 150 points.
