Man, that Marshadow GX looks awesome and seems amazing for battle. I also want that Alolan Muk GX, Kingdra, and Palossand for my collection!

Elektross looks really fun, too. (sorry, i'm kinda keeping a close look at this right now!)
I know 80 damage is a LOT to be tossing onto a benched pokemon, but cards like Tauros GX and Ninetales GX really like having some damage on them. If you can't get your opponent to do chip damage, then just do the damage yourself ;)

    edit:
WOW that Raticate can do 90 damage FOR FREE by having a Choice Band on it! That's a pretty efficient card!

I expectected marshadow to be a gx, but I expected it to be a "psychic" type in the tcg rather than a fighting type so I'm a bit surprised by that. Other than that it could be a fun gimmick with battle compressor / rainbow energy in expanded if anybody can think of a nice combination (atm I really can't).

Other than that, I like Muk GX, I love how his GX-attack is free which I didn't expect since Alolan ninetales' GX-attack wasn't free either. Anyhow I like the attack, it's a nice set up for a ko the next turn with it's first attack or it can stall a turn on your opponent's side. Another cool trick you can pull of with Muk is Salazzle for burn + poison which makes the first attack do 150 + choice band means 180 damage which is pretty decent for a dark energy + dce imo.

Well, it'd be 180 with the 30 from poison & burn, or 210 with Choice Band. Which is why I said it was admitedly better in the damage department - that 20 from burn makes a difference!

I'm really intressted in Muk GX, love the art and its ability to punish status is great.
Combined with Salazzel or/and Raichu you got a hard hitting guy.

Kingdra might be a nice niche combo with Dusknoir, since it means 120 damage to any basic, which is a lot, heck 90 damage is already hard hitting, when you can spread somehow! ;)

Hmm. This Wimpod has nice art, but it's bulkier than I expected. I'll probably get 1 of those and more of the GR Wimpod.

Marshadow-GX This adility is great! Ok the HP is really low but come on!
You can copy all fun or great attack, (saymin ex, from save the day, Lele is opponent have energy, maybe(once per duel) other gx attack, some set up attacks if really needed, is very intresting!
Ok with Hex maniac we cry.

    Alolan muk Gx
is from troll ideas card. if you can put all day sp contition is great at least the Gx attack is very cool! ...
Looks like with burn and posion combo(Salazzle) can hit 180! (70*2+10 basic attack +20 burn+10 posion)(with no tools or Kukui). Ok is many stage 1 pokemon but is fun deck idea. Deevolution helps a lot.
And the Gx attack can save the game if you have other Salazzle or opponent play Hex Maniac

Kingdra is very cool only if you can lock the opponent active pokemon! i mean 90 beanch damage is cool from one energy and the 2nd attack is good (if you can set up fast) But i really love the idea from 1st attack.
i bet not really playable card, i stage 2...

I hope that is NOT item lock Vileplum...

Marshadow's Ability is interesting. Definitely allows some flexibility for a possible type advantage over your opponent's Pokemon or to cover your disadvantages against their Pokemon. (Though a psychic weakness right now is pretty crippling.)
Edit: And Marshadow has the option to use Strong Energy for an extra boost by covering colorless energies in the other Basic Pokemon's attack cost.

Alolan Muk... has potential. While seeing a free GX attack is neat, I feel like you'd really have to be desperate to use it as a combo with its first attack, especially when there are other Pokemon's Abilities that can be used for Special Conditions.

That first attack on Kingdra is kind of crazy. (Though balanced by it being a Stage 2, I guess.) I'd love to see it be played. Think of how many times sniping something for 90 (on top of at least 10) could get you the KO.

Mount Lanakila seems like an obvious pairing with the new Wobbuffet (and Alolan Dugtrio) once Team Aqua's Secret Base rotates (which isn't too much longer after this releases).

And wow. That free attack for Alolan Raticate is pretty snazzy. Attach a Choice Band, and you're doing 90 damage to an EX or GX for zero energy. And if you use a Kukui, that's 110 damage.

And my goodness. That Gardevoir is the nicest rainbow rare I've seen so far, and not just because Gardevoir's my favorite Pokemon. Ha ha. I've seriously been unimpressed with rainbow rares, so far. And Ho-oh's rainbow rare, especially compared to Gardevoir, just looks sad. I know that's a difference between looking at Ho-oh's printed design and a photo of Gardevoir's actual card, but still. Aside from an interesting GX attack and despite being a set mascot, it feels like Ho-oh got the shaft again. =( But watch. There will be a Lugia GX that will be infinitely more playable.

I find it amusing that since PCL has been making a number of powerful GX Basics and support for them (e.g. Marshdow-GX and the Tapus), they've now begun printing a decent number of Basic-hate to 'balance' them. There's an anti-Basic Vileplume and Mount Lanakila in this set, thus far!

Regarding Scolipede, Hard Roller's English name is Steamroller, a move that the Scolipede line gets in the games.

I wonder whose bright idea it was to give Wimpod a 3-energy retreat. It's actually very fast for its evolutionary stage in the games.

Mt. Lanakila might see some play in Sun/Moon Sharpedo decks as a substitute to Aqua's Secret Base when it rotates out, but only for basics.

Maybe it's so that both it and Golisopod GX can be searched for with Heavy Ball? Or maybe to "justify" its super relevant Ability? I dunno.

I can easily see Marshadow GX being teched into various decks (my first thought was Vikavolt/Bulu and Lurantis/Bulu, giving them a nice little advantage over Turbodark decks); however, the Wimpod is a big ol' fatty with [CCC] retreat cost, butthe ability makes it payable.

Wow, shouldn't they be giving parental advice with this set, just because of that Muk card? But seriously, it looks menacing. The card shows how they did a great job on an otherwise mediocre design (regular Muk). Like it! The Charizard card seems a bit tame.. If your going to make yet another Charizard card (of course) make it interesting at least..

Edit; that Charizard Hyper Rare will be worth a small fortune in a few years. Pull it and you can probably stop studying/working.
