Tapu Lele-GX, Tapu Koko-GX, Turtonator-GX, and Many SM2 Promos Revealed!

Several cards have been revealed from Japan’s second Sun & Moon sets, named Islands Waiting For You and Moonlight of Alola. Both sets will be released in Japan on March 17th. Thanks goes to Bangiras, Franco T., and Jake C. for the translations!

UPDATE: Images of the booster boxes for both sets reveal that Taillow, Slowpoke, Fletchling, and Wishiwashi will also be included in the set.

Salazzle – Fire – HP110
Stage 1 – Evolves from Salandit

Ability: Hot Poison
Once during your turn (before your attack), when you play this card from your hand to evolve 1 of your Pokemon, your opponent’s Active Pokemon is now Poisoned and Burned.

If you buy five booster packs of SM2, you’ll get a promo booster pack that contains one of 11 possible cards. They are the nine Basic Energy, a Salandit, or a shiny Tapu Koko! The two Pokemon are exclusive to the pack.

Some blister packs will also be released in Pokemon Centers and a few retail stores on March 17th. The Komala blister contains two booster packs and costs 350 yen while the Pikachu and Jangmo-o blisters have four booster packs and cost 650 yen.

Geez March 17th is a big day for the TCG! Also releasing are various deck sleeves and boxes. Each pack of sleeves contains 64 sleeves and costs 720 yen (about $7). The Lycanroc deck box costs 362 yen (about $4). The horizontal “deck boxes” (the last two images below) are actually “double deck boxes” and cost 1389 yen (about $14). They come with two inner boxes and three partition boards.
